Dee Wharton, a USPTA Developmental Coach, joined the Villa  staff in August, 2008,  to coach the Reserve Team.   Believing that participation in sports can have a positive impact on all aspects of a person's life, she is proud to be on the coaching staff of one of the few no-cut tennis teams in the St. Louis area. 

Dee is an active member of the St. Louis tennis community.   She plays weekly in USTA and interclub leagues.     She is also a student herself, taking lessons and clinics with some of the top pros in the area. 

Dee is a USTA certified tennis official, working tournaments and events at the junior, adult, college, and professional levels.    She is the secretary for the St. Louis Association of Tennis Officials, coordinates the scheduling of officials for junior tournaments, and serves on the SLATO board.

Her thirty years as a teacher and administrator in the public schools are a testimony to her desire to assist students grow and achieve.
