Mary Bazan joins Villa's coaching team in the fall of 2007 as the JV tennis coach.  She is a devoted wife and proud mother of two Villa daughters, Danielle, a recent graduate and Julie, a freshman.

Mary is an alumnae of Villa Duchesne where she played volleyball, tennis, field hockey and basketball.  At Villa, Mary received the distinctive award of High School All-American in basketball.  Upon graduation, she attended St. Mary's University in San Antonio, TX as a member of the Lady Rattlers Basketball team.  Later, Mary transferred to University Missouri-St. Louis majoring in Business Administration.  She became a member of the women's tennis team and was awarded Most Valuable Player. 

Currently, Mary plays singles and doubles on a Missouri Valley USTA women's team.  Her team placed fourth nationally in 2004. Mary also plays summer inter-club tennis and World Team Tennis.  This past spring she teamed up with Coach Allison Wilson (Varsity) as the JV Coach at Whitfield.

Mary is enthusiastically anticipating coaching at Villa.  She is looking forward to coaching at Villa and instilling the Sacred Heart goals through athletics into each one of her athletes.
