Day Care/Nursery Teacher Assistant
Villa Duchesne and Oak Hill School seeks a part-time Teacher Assistant for our Employee Daycare Center (EDC). The program serves children from infancy to 3 years. This position assists in planning and implementing the education program for the EDC in accordance with child development best practices, performance standards, state licensing regulations, and Villa Duchesne and Oak Hill School policies and procedures. The hours for this ten-month (school schedule) position are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. The Teacher Assistant will work as part of a three-person team to foster a positive and caring environment, ensuring the health, welfare, and safety of all children.

Candidates must have a minimum of two years experience as a child care provider. A Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education/Child Development or equivalent work experience is preferred. The successful candidate must have the ability to recognize and effectively respond to the various physical, intellectual, and emotional needs of infants and toddlers and a demonstrated passion for the care and education of children.  Candidates must also meet the physical requirements of lifting and carrying infants, toddlers, and equipment. Director of Finance and Operations

Villa Duchesne and Oak Hill School seeks an energetic and collaborative leader to facilitate the school's financial and operational management.  Reporting to the Head of School, the Director of Finance and Operations has responsibility for all financial aspects of the school's operations, including budgeting, financial reporting, investments, tuition assistance, human resources, food services, technology, physical plant management, and capital projects.  The successful candidate must have the ability to provide leadership in financial long-range planning, financial modeling, strategic problem solving, and development of institutional policies and procedures.  The Director of Finance is a member of the school's Leadership Team and is the liaison to three standing Board of Trustee committees.

 

The successful candidate must be committed to the ideals of a Catholic independent,  college preparatory educational program.  Outstanding leadership, communication, interpersonal, administrative, and organizational skills are essential as well as the ability to perform in a multi-tasking, complex, and fast-paced environment.  Candidate must have a minimum of ten years experience in a senior financial and administrative management role, non-profit management experience, and demonstrated leadership experience in institutional and support area operations.  Also required are a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and CPA credentials, MBA preferred.
