Ultimately, the video will be combined with all the other Schools of the Sacred Heart and put on a website so that all students can access it - maybe SOFIE, maybe somewhere else.

Students participating in this dance project, will visit the web site to see themselves...and then have exposure to other Sacred Heart Schools around the world.  This view of SH students would be like no other...one in which they are being more relaxed, more themselves than they are most often seen on school web sites. 

It seems as though it might break down some barriers and give students more courage to participate in exchange or service to places that seem out of reach or so far away.  For some, this might be their only form of exchange or service. 

The Sacred Heart connection will be even more tangible, as the students will all have participated in this global project.   

And, it is just so much fun.  It is a way to provide a "student centered" connection...one in which the students themselves are the primary focus rather than the school first.

The ultimate goal is that they then use this video to begin talking with each other online, establishing connections, learning about each others' cultures etc.  And then later, when they are in charge of important companies, formulating new ideas, figuring out important solutions to global issues, they might reestablish these connections  .... and together, figure out ways to save the world.
