Summer Reading List for Students of Villa Duchesne
Required by the English Department 2009-2010
This list is to be considered required summer reading in preparation for discussion in context, tests, and essays at the discretion of the assigning teacher. If there is a study guide associated with any reading, the study guide is an assigned activity due during the first days of class.
For the study guides: If you open the pdf or word files on your Tablet PC, you can use the pen tools or keyboard and text box to enter your reflections and answers. On a pdf file you will find the pen/pencil/text box tools at Tools -> Advanced Commenting. Some study guides or book report forms are offered in Journal or Word format. You can choose on which you prefer to work.
